New to the circus? Want to give things a try but not sure if you’re strong\/fit\/brave enough? Try one of our 6 week intro courses! Our experienced coaches will guide you through the basic and fundamental skills of your chosen discipline. With tailored progressions, clear instruction, and zero judgment, these courses are a safe space and gentle entrance to the world of circus arts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fire Dance<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fire meets are fortnightly events, open to all experienced spinners and anyone who has completed our fire intro course. Meets happen at Victoria Park, Ashford or at the Simia unit. You can either walk with us from the school, or meet us there. Paraffin will be provided, but if you wish to use any other fuel (Colemans etc.), please let us know ahead of time. Equipment will also be provided for those without, although we do highly encourage you to use your own.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Flying Trapeze<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Want to practice the most iconic of circus arts? We run regular classes on our petite volant fly rig with a new platform to jump from. If this is a new discipline for you, we highly recommend that you attend our intro course. However, if you have flown before elsewhere and gone to catch from any trick, then we would love to have you in the class!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Aerial silks is our favorite discipline here at Simia Circus! Work your way through a mix of drops, twists and knots. Want to really push yourself? Have a chat with our coaches, who have consulted internationally on wrap and drop theory and safe ways for structuring large dynamic techniques.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
