Where are you based?
Our primary location is Ashford, Kent, where we run classes at Ashford Vale Tudo and the John Wallis Academy. We also teach for other studios in Canterbury, Paddock Wood, and Folkestone, as well as having mobile workshops to travel with. Check out the ‘How to Find Us’ page for more details.
What should I wear to an aerial class?
For all aerial classes you should wear clothes that cover as much skin as possible. This prevents you from getting friction burns, and protects the equipment from sweat.
For aerial silks classes it is advisable to wear clothes that are a high percentage of cotton, as this will help you to grip and prevent synthetic fabrics melting if you do slides or slack drops.
Do you have classes for children/adults?
We have classes for both children and adults, starting from age six. Our classes are tailored to specific age brackets, so please check out our ‘Classes’ page to find the one that’s right for you.
Do I need to be strong and/or flexible?
There is no prerequisite level of strength, flexibility, or fitness needed for our classes. All of the skills can be adapted to be fun and accessible for any level, and our instructors are highly experienced in doing so. Don’t be afraid to come and give it a try!
Do you do birthday parties?
We can make every birthday special by hosting your party at one of our venues, or bringing the fun to you with our mobile equipment. Whether you’d like an aerial experience, or to keep your feet on the ground whilst you explore our juggling toybox, we can tailor something just for you.
Am I too old to start?
We have no upper age limit on our classes, so it’s never too late to start! Every skill we teach can be adapted to be accessible, so don’t let age stop you joining in the fun!
Who is aerial for?
Aerial is great fun for anyone! You do not have to be young, strong, flexible, physically fit, or any other prerequisite to come and give it a go. We teach classes from complete beginner to professional level.
Do I have to have lots of juggling experience to join the Intro to Fire course?
Our introduction to fire course starts you off at the very beginning, so no previous experience is needed. You will have plenty of time to practice and learn skills without the equipment on fire before you light up and spin with the flames.
Do you do online 1:1’s?
Yes! Please get in touch for info and criteria on our online 1:1’s.
